The instructions for Focus meditations are simple to say – and hard to do! Focus your attention on, for instance, the sensations of breathing, a candle flame, the sounds in your environment, a specific visual image, or any color or shape you can see before you. When you notice that the mind has wandered, gently and with kindness, guide your attention back to the object of focus. Repetition trains the brain.
